50 minutes west of Melbourne 's CBD, and easily
accessible by bus and rail, Underbank Stud's
Rural Retreat is ideally located for corporate
retreats, team building weekends, family getaways,
hobbiest weekends, church groups, or any other
occasion where group accomodation is required.
Accomodation
Our
accommodation is very comfortable; comprising
three very spacious cabins, each with four
bedrooms (a total of 12 bedrooms sleeping
6-7) and each bedroom with its own ensuite
and reverse cycle heater/air conditioners.
Each unit also has a common area with a small
kitchenette, TV, video, and cd player. These
common areas serve as ideal breakout or activitiy
rooms.
Activities
Room
Adjacent
to the dining room is a large multi purpose
recreation facility (165 sqm), suitable for
functions, meetings, games, or just about
anything. The facility is both heated and
air conditioned.
Dining
Room
The
dining room is situated in what was originally
Underbank's dairy. Retaining many of the "Dairy's"
original features, the Dining Room has outstanding
views of the market gardens in Weribee Vale.
The
Dining Room is serviced by a first rate kitchen,
and is available for both fully catered groups
and for self-catering.
Catering
Both Self Catering and Fully Catering
is available at Underbank.
Underbank's catering is legendary!
All meals are of the highest quality, providing
the best of home style cooking, keeping nutrition
and variety very much in mind. Our catering
staff are able to provide meals from simple
yet very tasty camp style through to the finest
gourmet meals.
Rates
Underbank
Rural Retreat starts at $1200 per night (based
on 30 guests) and then varies according to
total numbers. There is a once off self catering
fee for groups not catered for by Underbank.
Underbank has a two night minimum booking
policy.

There
are numerous activities at Underbank including
but not limited to the following:

equipment and sport equipment
- Archery
- Beach volleyball (in our
historic sand roll)
- Indoor hockey
- Nearby fishing (just outside
the property)
- Camp Fire

Building
If
you require specialised team building activities;
in addition to having our own qualified staff,
Underbank works with a number of organisations
that run team building and inititiative based
activities ranging from very basic to very
involved. Rates vary based on length and complexity
of activities.
